SAP Recognized for Delivering Significant and Measurable Value in Governance, Risk and Compliance Analytics
SAP NEWSBYTE - GRC 20/20, a leading analyst firm, has recognized SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) with two of the 2014 GRC Value Awards. SAP was recognized in the categories of Internal Control Management and Monitoring and GRC Architecture and Integration. The second annual GRC Value Awards recognizes real-world implementations for governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) programs and processes that have returned significant and measurable value to an organization.
GRC 20/20 has recognized Exxaro , its partner CQS and SAP with a 2014 GRC Value Award in the domain of Internal Control Management for success with the SAP® Process Control application. Exxaro is using SAP to maintain a risk-aligned process control program that balances business agility with control and security in order to mitigate risk, reduce loss and exposure as well as to satisfy both auditors and regulators. GRC 20/20 has evaluated and verified the implementation of SAP Process Control at Exxaro by CQS and confirms that this implementation has achieved measurable value across the elements of GRC efficiency, effectiveness and agility.
Additionally SAP was awarded top honors in the domain of GRC Architecture and Integration for its use of SAP solutions for governance, risk, and compliance internally. SAP implemented an integrated GRC architecture that brings together SAP Process Control version 10.0 and the SAP Risk Management application version 10.0 across the organization for risk-assessed internal control monitoring and assurance. GRC 20/20 has evaluated and verified the implementation of SAP’s own internal use of SAP solutions for GRC and confirms that this implementation has achieved measurable value across the elements of GRC efficiency, effectiveness and agility.
“SAP has demonstrated proven business value in categories of Internal Control Management and Monitoring and GRC Architecture and Integration,” said Michael Rasmussen, Chief GRC Pundit for GRC 20/20 and internationally recognized expert. “It is imperative that we recognize today’s successes as a milestone toward advancing GRC maturity. In achieving maturity, GRC is part of the organization’s strategy and operations and supported by a range of technology, knowledge and services, enabling the organization to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness and agility in GRC processes and broader business operations.”
